Old Buckenham Wings & Wheels

Classic Car owners with their machines benefit from free entry and a slot in the display. We’re inviting owners of classic cars and aircraft to display their machines at our ever popular Spring celebration of internal combustion. We’ll have a variety of food on offer from Jimmy’s cafe. The 453rd Bombardment Group Museum and 8th Air Force Heritage Gallery will be open throughout the day too.

Our events are always at the mercy of the weather. Please check our Twitter feed @egsv if the forecast looks dodgy. We’ll tweet and update if we have to cancel at short notice.

Gates open at 10am. Entry is free for classic car owners (please book in below). For everyone else, entry fees are £2 per person, or £5 per car load if travelling with more than 2 in the car

Daks over Normandy 2019

Daks over Normandy will be organized in two locations. From 2 to 5 June at Duxford Airfield and from 5 to 9 June at Caen Carpiquet Airport.
We have the intention to organise scenic flights for our visitors with the original DC-3 Dakota’s.  In the United Kingdom these wonderful flights will take you over the country side of Suffolk and Norfolk, where during the war the RAF and the US Air Forces had an large number of airfields which can still be seen today. In France the flights will take you over the historic battlefields, the original drop zones and the invasion beaches.

Dunsfold Wings & Wheels

Eyes to the sky as the ‘Wings’ of the event treats visitors to outstanding and diverse 5 hour air displays which have previously included show favourites the Red Arrows, Eurofighter Typhoon, Battle of Britain Memorial Flight, Apache Air Assault display the Tigers Parachute Team, the Blades, Strikemaster, Hangar 11 Hurricane, Richard Goodwin and Sally B, accompanied by witty and knowledgeable commentary from aviation experts and display pilots.

The ‘Wings’ of the event would not be complete without a close-up inspection of all the weekend’s visiting aircraft including Dunsfold’s resident Boeing 747 in the ‘Wings Park’ (open for tours) and Aces High DC3.

Weston Air Festival

Weston Air Festival will return this summer with breathtaking air displays over the stunning Seafront and Beach Lawns at Weston-super-Mare. The two day show will take place over the weekend of the Saturday 22 and Sunday 23 June offering free entertainment for all the family.

Weston Armed Forces Weekend celebrations will be taking place as part of Weston Air Festival. A programme of displays and entertainment has been arranged for both days by the Weston-super-Mare Armed Forces Committee.

Wales National Airshow

The free Wales Airshow will be returning to Swansea Bay on Saturday July 6th and Sunday July 7th 2019. Breathtaking aerobatic displays, state-of-the-art military aircraft and vintage planes from the past will thrill tens of thousands of visitors in Swansea Bay next summer.

Last year smashed our attendance record, the weather was perfect and we feel it was the best ever!  We’re looking to make 2019 even bigger with even more exciting air display teams and entertainment.

Royal Navy International Air Day

Royal International Air Tattoo

  • Few events can rival the intensity, drama and spectacle on offer at the world’s greatest airshow. The Air Tattoo, one of the UK’s premier outdoor events, was held in 2018 on 13-15 July to mark a very special occasion, the centenary of the Royal Air Force. As well as commemorating the past achievements, we also celebrated the present and helped to inspire the future of the RAF.

    A record crowd of 185,000 people enjoyed a feast of flying at the 2018 Air Tattoo, marking the Royal Air Force’s Centenary at RAF Fairford.

Scotland's National Airshow

Located at East Fortune, a military airfield dating back to the First World War, the National Museum of Flight will be open for visitors to explore. Highlights include two newly redeveloped hangars displaying military and civil aircraft, Scotland’s supersonic Concorde, Fortunes of War, which tells the stories of those that served at East Fortune, and Fantastic Flight, full of interactive exhibits and family fun. East Kirkby Air Show

Lancaster taxy run times may have to change slightly depending on the flying programme.

This is our annual full airshow and is run to help raise funds for the on-going restoration of Avro Lancaster NX611. We have limited tickets to 5,000 so it is vital that you try and buy your tickets early as we sold out last year. We are happy to say that we have been able to secure some of the best displays in the country so the audience should not be disappointed! It is imperative that all those who are planning coming to the event do buy their tickets before hand so that they can gain entry to the site.

We will have re-enactors, Lancaster taxy runs, trade stalls, vintage cars, Military vehicles and much more to give you an excellent family day out.

Southport Airshow

The amazing Red Arrows opened the show on Friday night with their breath-taking display which shows exactly why they are the ambassadors for the Royal Air Force. The evening continued with fireworks and LED lights on planes and a massive firework finale.

On Saturday and Sunday the sun was shining and visitors enjoyed Southport beach and the weather. Families could be seen sun bathing, building sandcastles and enjoy the displays overhead from the Battle of Britain Memorial Flight, aerobatics from many display teams and the crazy Tigers Army Parachute Display Team throwing themselves out of a plane!

The Victory Show

The 2019 Victory Show will run for 3 days from Friday 6th September to Sunday 8th September. Held over a 100 acre site, the Show provides Historical Societies and re-enactments through various forces from several era’s and theatres during the period of 1939-45. Gnat Display Team JetFest 2019

The Heritage Aircraft Trust is a UK registered Charity (No. 1134981 – registered in 2010), which promotes its work under the Gnat Display Team brand. It has the following charitable objectives:



The Folland Gnat aircraft has a unique space in British aviation history. Most famously used by the Royal Air Force Red Arrows aerobatic team, it was also used to train more than 1400 fast jet pilots for the RAF. Given its supersonic speeds and superb handling capabilities, it was also used as a fighter jet by several foreign Air Forces.
